In our classroom, we are very lucky to have access to 1:1 Chromebooks. We are so excited about this and will use our beloved Chromebooks frequently throughout the day. One of the ways that we will be using our Chromebooks is Google Classroom. Google Classroom is a digital classroom in which I can share documents and links with the students as well as assign them activities. Although Google Classroom is a tool that we use primarily at school, students often want to sign in at home. I am so thankful for their enthusiasm and interest in this, but please know that accessing Google Classroom at home is not a requirement. However, if you'd like to take a look simply follow the steps below!

Follow these simple steps to access your child’s online account:
- Go to www.google.com and select Sign In.
- Sign in using your child’s username and password.
- Use the ‘waffle icon’ (the set of squares in the top right corner) to find Google Classroom. The Google Classroom icon looks like a little green chalkboard.
- Once in Google Classroom you will see your child’s different ‘classes.’ I’m trying to make this as organized as possible, so you will see a ‘class’ for each subject area.
- In each ‘class’ you will find announcements or assignments that have been posted by me.
